Dedicated on 6 April 1893 by Wilford Woodruff, the Salt Lake Temple has stood as a testament of the dedication of the early saints. It is also the most well-known temple among the dozens of LDS temples spread around the globe—an iconic symbol of Jesus Christ’s restored gospel.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
— Psalm 119:33-34
